Assistant General Counsel

• Provide direct legal support on a full range of North American employment law issues relating to the entire employee lifecycle
• Advise on labor and employment law compliance
• Oversee and direct internal investigations in addition to managing litigation, claims, agency charges, and government investigations internally
• Develop, revise, and implement best in class employment policies, procedures, and scalable training solutions
• Oversee external counsel support for non-US employment law issues

• JD degree from a nationally recognized law school
• Admitted to the Bar of at least one state and eligible for admission as in-house counsel
• 6 years or more of legal experience as US employment law attorney
• Experience with life science / manufacturing / CDMO is preferred
• Must possess excellent legal judgment and business acumen
• Must be able to work comfortably in an intense, fast-paced environment
• Must be able to manage workload and prioritize impactful issues
• Must be a team player
• Must demonstrate gravitas and excellent communication skills
• Must inspire confidence through the strength of his or her intellect, judgment, leadership style, and ability to manage interpersonal relationships at all levels
• Must demonstrate ability to work effectively with senior management, and collaboratively with other corporate functions, including HR and Finance
• Must possess excellent organizational, project management and technological skills
• U.S. Eastern Time Zone is preferred
