Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is currently looking for an Assistant Front Office Manager.
Job Responsibility:
Always offer professional and engaging service
Assist in overseeing the at the Front Office and Guest Services - conduct interviews, departmental trainings, and provide hands on support
Ensure communication between pertinent departments is seamless regarding any special needs with guests
Assist in conducting performance evaluations and disciplines staff when needed
Coordinate arrivals, departures for guests
Work with internal departments regarding billing
Block rooms for arrivals to ensure proper handling of special attention guest, return guest and groups
Assure that all financial and credit procedures are followed. Follow up on credit problems with Financial Manager
Follow-up with guest requests
Takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well being of hotel guests and employees when senior managers are not available
Responds swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation
Resolves customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
Requirements:
2-3 years of luxury hotel experience in a supervisory or management role of Front Office or Rooms Division
Must be flexible with schedule – Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evenings and some overnights
Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
Must provide work authorization document - proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America
