Job Description

As an Assistant Front Desk Manager, you will support the Front Office Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk, ensuring exceptional guest service, efficient processes, and a seamless guest journey from arrival to departure. You will lead the front office team during shifts, maintain service excellence, and uphold brand standards with a hands-on, guest-focused approach. This role is ideal for a motivated hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences while supporting team development and operational success.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervise front desk operations and ensure smooth and efficient service across all shifts
  • Deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring all interactions meet brand standards and exceed guest expectations
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, data protection, and hotel policies
  • Monitor room availability, occupancy levels, and support revenue optimisation strategies
  • Support the Front Office Manager in achieving financial objectives, including upselling targets and departmental performance
  • Drive guest satisfaction through personalised service, proactive problem resolution, and strong product knowledge
  • Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times
  • Ensure the front desk area is well-presented, organised, and fully prepared for service
