Assistant Front Desk Manager role at the new Four Seasons Resort on Shura Island, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. The resort will be part of a luxury beachside destination with sustainable practices at its core, offering approximately 149 rooms and suites, six restaurant and lounge outlets, and extensive leisure facilities.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise the Front Desk team to ensure smooth and efficient guest check-in and check-out procedures
Support the Front Office Manager in managing daily operations, scheduling, team development, and service standards
Resolve guest concerns and requests promptly with genuine care and effective service recovery
Ensure all guest preferences and special requests are accurately recorded and communicated across departments
Oversee training and mentoring of Guest Services Agents and support team members in daily duties
Assist in the development of front desk procedures and systems in preparation for the resort opening
Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Concierge, Guest Experience, and other departments to ensure a flawless guest journey
Handle VIP arrivals and special occasions with personalized attention and elevated service
Monitor guest satisfaction scores and contribute to strategies for continuous improvement
Requirements:
Experience in a supervisory or leadership role at the Front Desk in a luxury hotel or resort environment
A hands-on, guest-focused approach with strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Pre-opening experience is an advantage
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Fluency in English & Arabic is required
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Hospitality Management
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a 5-star hotel or resort Front Office department
Strong working knowledge of hotel property management systems
A proactive and adaptable attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure
Excellent attention to detail and guest service standards
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Arabic and English
Fluent in English and Arabic, with strong reading, writing, and oral proficiency
Locals only as per the Saudi labour law
