Job Responsibility:
To support the Framework Estimator in delivering high-quality and accurate cost estimates for the DCWW Major Civils Framework
A key part of the role is to utilise Benchmark Estimating Software (BES) to input, manage and analyse cost data efficiently, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all framework tenders
The role will assist in coordinating supply chain engagement, managing tender documentation, and ensuring timely return of quotations to produce compliant and competitive submissions
Requirements:
Numerical & Analytical Ability: Strong skills in cost breakdowns, spreadsheets, and financial analysis
Attention to Detail: Ability to scrutinize drawings, specifications, and contract documents for estimating accuracy
Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication for liaising with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams
Organizational Skills: Managing multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of construction methods, materials, and infrastructure processes (especially water and utilities)
