Job Description:

Park Ridge Country Club is seeking an energetic, service driven Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a key role in managing and overseeing the day-to-day food and beverage operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for our members and guests. The Assistant Manager will lead a dedicated team, ensuring seamless operations across the restaurant, bar, and banquet functions, while balancing multiple tasks and working closely with the F&B management team. This is a fast-paced role ideal for a proactive and adaptable professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily food and beverage operations in the dining room, bar, and banquet areas
  • Lead and train staff, ensuring consistent high-quality service and member satisfaction
  • Assist in scheduling team members and managing labor costs according to business demands
  • Maintain inventory and ordering of supplies to ensure seamless operation
  • Monitor food and beverage service, ensuring all service standards are met
  • Collaborate with the executive chef and other team members to plan and execute special events, banquets, and club functions
  • Manage member concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase food and beverage sales and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the F&B leadership team

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in hospitality
  • At least 2-3 years of management experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to motivate and guide the team
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and functions in a busy, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong focus on personal service
  • Ability to adapt to varying shifts (mornings, afternoons, evenings) based on club needs
  • Knowledge of food and beverage inventory management and financial controls
  • Passion for creating memorable experiences for members and guests
  • Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
