Job Responsibility:
Organize, direct and control the work of employees in TRUSS Restaurant + Bar as well as Michelin star, Auro
Ensure maximum guest satisfaction and financial success through providing exceptional service
Train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline employees
Actively participate and contribute in Marketing and Promotional activities
Control labor expenses through effective scheduling and inventory control while focusing on creative revenue generation solutions
Recognize, nurture and maintain relationships with regular guests as well as cultivate relationships with new patrons
Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met
Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlets and make recommendations for corrections and improvements
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
Assist with the service of food to guests, making dining reservations and seating of guests
Ensure proper table set-up and make minor adjustments as needed, assist with set-up and cleaning of operational areas
Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in other areas of the Resort
Assist in other Food & Beverage departments such as In Room Dining or Pool
Open to work taskforce at other properties during slow business months
Requirements:
1-2+ years previous experience in line supervisory or assistant manager position in Food & Beverage
Knowledge of Napa Valley and surrounding areas, highly desirable, however not required
Experience preferred in a luxury and/or Michelin starred environment
Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures
Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment
Strong problem solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests
Nice to have:
Knowledge of Napa Valley and surrounding areas
Experience in a luxury and/or Michelin starred environment
