The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager plays a key supporting leadership role in delivering this high-touch, relationship-driven experience. This role partners closely with the Restaurant General Manager and culinary team to ensure seamless daily operations, exceptional service standards, and a warm, welcoming environment that reflects the unique character of the Residents’ Beach House.
Job Responsibility
Support daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and detail-oriented service
Lead, coach, and motivate team members while fostering a positive and collaborative culture aligned with Four Seasons values
Maintain a visible presence on the floor, engaging with residents and guests to ensure personalized and memorable experiences
Build strong relationships with Hualālai Club members, learning preferences and anticipating needs
Assist in training and development of staff to uphold service excellence and consistency
Partner with culinary leadership to deliver high-quality, seasonally inspired menus
Monitor and support financial performance, including labor management, cost control, and operational efficiency
Help maintain the unique Residents’ Beach House atmosphere—elevated, relaxed, and community-focused
Requirements
Experience in food & beverage operations within a luxury resort, hotel, or private club environment preferred
Passion for hospitality and delivering personalized, relationship-driven service
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and inspire teams
Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including service standards and financial fundamentals
Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, adaptable approach
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculosis (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage
