Job Description

Join our team as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager specializing in multi outlet operations. Elevate guest experiences with your passion for all food & beverage services. Assisting with maintaining a high standard of each Outlet, building revenue and exercising careful cost management to ensure each Outlet delivers on its financial and guest satisfaction goal. This role is responsible assisting with the management of the Outback BBQ Bar, Outback Kiosk, Outback Bottleshop, Outback Hotel & Lodge In-Room Dinning, Bough House Restaurant, Residents Club Bottleshop, Resident Club Bar & Dinning Room, Contractors Camp Dinning Room, Catering & Event Operations within Zone 3, Staff Canteen and any additional outlets operated within the zone.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee the daily management of staff in accordance with guidelines set down by the Food & Beverage Manager and Voyages policy
  • Ensure that strategies and practices are in place to facilitate the efficient and effective staffing of the department to achieve financial and service quality targets
  • Supporting and promoting training throughout the Zone ensuring all compliance, skills, development, and mandatory training are being attended by staff as required
  • Uphold purchasing and stock control systems through diligent stock control, involvement in stock take preparation and audits and analysis of stock variance reports

Requirements

  • 5 years exposure to a large scale Food and Beverage operation
  • Hospitality Management Certificate or equivalent
  • RSA certification
  • Valid liquor license or nominated within Australia (preferred not essential)
  • Strategic understanding of F&B outlets and ability to perform at all levels of an F&B operational team
