Job Description:

We are looking for a trusted finance business partner to join the Finance team of a global sport company. This role reports to the Finance Business Partner in Japan and will collaborate closely with the Japan team and Finance Team to drive business growth.

Job Responsibility:

Monitor and analyze KPIs across revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures
Prepare weekly/monthly reports
Monitor working capital, especially stock and merchandise purchase
Plan and upload data for quarterly forecasts and annual budgets into Oracle
Prepare monthly marketing reports, check accruals, and share with the Brand team
Support monthly closing with the Accounting Team
Lead financial annual and multi-year planning
Monitor and control P&L for Topline, Cogs, and Opex
Provide financial advice to business leaders and prepare business cases
Manage operating expenses and drive productivity improvements
Own the approval process for new store openings (P&L forecast and CAPEX control)
Own pre/post control of major marketing investments
Own the budget and quarterly forecasting process
Establish effective relationships with local brand teams and other functions

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in Finance
1-3+ years in a similar position preferred
Working knowledge of SAP EPP system (preferable)
Interest in outdoor or sports (preferable)
Reading/writing English required
Agility to work in a fast-changing, multinational environment
Experience with forecasting and financial analysis
Flexible, self-directed, and hands-on
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Results-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous improvement

Nice to have:

Working knowledge of SAP EPP system
Interest in outdoor or sports
