As an Assistant Facilities Manager, you’ll be an essential part of keeping our location running safely, smoothly, and looking its best. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, you’ll combine hands-on maintenance with team support, ensuring our cabins and facilities are consistently well-maintained and guest-ready. From tackling repairs to responding to guest needs, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience for everyone who stays with us.
Job Responsibility:
Team Support & Leadership: Assist the Facilities Manager in supervising, training, and scheduling the facilities team to ensure smooth daily operations
Hands-On Maintenance: Carry out general maintenance tasks, including using tools, fixing machinery, decorating, and completing routine checks across cabins and facilities
Proactive & Reactive Repairs: Oversee and deliver both planned and urgent maintenance, ensuring cabins, hot tubs, and site areas remain in excellent condition
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed, and complete required compliance and maintenance paperwork accurately and on time
Guest Support: Respond quickly and professionally to guest maintenance concerns—whether it’s a dishwasher not draining or heating issues, ensuring high satisfaction
Cabin Readiness: Inspect and maintain cabins before guest arrivals, ensuring everything is fully operational and presented to a high standard
Outdoor Work: Carry out duties in all weather conditions, maintaining a high-quality finish while supporting the smooth running of the location
Requirements:
Hands-on maintenance experience, including using tools, fixing machinery, and decorating
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude
Resilience to work outdoors in all weather conditions, all year round
Great communication skills, with the ability to assist guests and handle queries professionally
Team leadership experience, with the ability to support, train, and motivate staff
You must hold a full, clean UK Driving Licence
