Job Description:

Assistant Facilities Manager – Technical role within Integrated Facilities Management – Corporate Solutions (APAC, India). The role involves overcoming engineering challenges, shaping a system of best practices, and working closely with the chief engineer.

Job Responsibility:

  • Uphold excellence and high standards in preventive maintenance programs and conservation practices
  • Monitor M&E projects for quality and timely delivery
  • Deliver complete and accurate facility management reports
  • Provide comprehensive facility, contract and procurement management for technical services
  • Contribute to hitting financial targets and other goals
  • Achieve key performance indicators and meet service level agreements
  • Manage on-site mechanical, electrical, plumbing installations and civil maintenance
  • Prepare the list of critical spares for all installations based on manufacturers’ recommendations
  • Plan the maintenance inventory
  • Prevent machine failures of critical equipment
  • Implement a pre-emptive maintenance programme
  • Ensure logbooks, checklists and schedules are upkeep and current
  • Arrange ad-hoc M&E set ups based on client requirements

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in engineering, ideally electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
  • Three to seven years of experience in facilities management
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team in both leadership and individual contributor expertise
