This position provides comprehensive support for facilities management operations with responsibility for people management including vendor oversight, client/stakeholder relations, financial and commercial management, and site operations management. You will assist the Post Facilities Manager in delivering excellent customer service while managing multiple vendors to deliver soft services on time and within budget. This role contributes to JLL's business objectives by ensuring service delivery meets contractual obligations and client expectations while maintaining Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreement targets through effective team leadership and operational excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Provide coaching and direction to team while driving staff morale and fostering teamwork environment as backup for Post Facilities Manager
Manage multiple vendors for soft services delivery while assisting JLL Procurement Team in vendor procurement processes
Build and develop effective relationships with Posts' key stakeholders demonstrating comfort working across all levels
Monitor financial processes to ensure account payable procedures are followed while assessing contracts for best value delivery
Implement industry best practice operations while ensuring all building procedures and Critical Environment requirements are met
Oversee site cleanliness and provide direction to cleaning staff while organizing specialty cleaning as required
Implement JLL Operational Risk Management program and support disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Requirements:
Experience in facilities management with demonstrated ability to manage teams and provide coaching and direction
Strong vendor management skills with ability to manage multiple hard and soft service providers
Financial management experience including monitoring budgets and account payable procedures
Excellent customer service skills with ability to build relationships across all organizational levels
Knowledge of health and safety guidelines, policies, and procedures with ability to review contractor Safe Work Method Statements
Experience with work order management systems and KPI achievement
Availability for 24/7 emergency call support and site attendance as required.
Nice to have:
Experience in leased residential property management and stakeholder relationship building
Background in Critical Environment Management (CEM) requirements and compliance
Understanding of procurement processes and contract management best practices
Knowledge of JLL Operational Risk Management programs and business continuity planning
Experience with incident reporting procedures and escalation processes
Familiarity with Commonwealth procurement rules and JLL procurement practices.
