Job Responsibility
Drive Electrical manufacturing integration from concept through to pre-production and plant builds
Develop plant and program strategies for new products in conjunction with Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV, Other Manufacturing Centers and Manufacturing Planning
Unify cross‑functional teams on a clear, shared direction to accurately capture overall Electrical impacts to manufacturing
Bring the Electrical SDV and VaaT voice to program planning, making the proper escalations through the organization
Collaborate with global team members across multiple time zones, requiring flexibility and strong communication skills
Foster a forward-thinking work culture that embraces change and navigates future organizational and industry challenges
Build and nurture strategic relationships across various functions including software, manufacturing, and program management to synergize efforts towards future innovations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering field or equivalent experience
Knowledge of GM Manufacturing systems, Tooling systems and Electrical Content within the assembly process
Comfortable knowledge of the Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP)
Action oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong teams and work cross-functionally / collaboratively
