Job Description

As an Assistant Educator at N Family, you’ll support your team in creating an inspirational environment that delivers the best care and education – guiding every child to dream big, think independently, and explore the world with confidence. In our fast-paced, ever-evolving nursery, you'll learn from experienced educators, understand the different needs of all the children in your care, and help bring our N Curriculum to life as you grow and develop in your role.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver our ‘learning through play’ ethos and our N Curriculum with care and flair
  • Follow our daily routine and ensure smooth transitions from mealtimes to naptimes to playtimes
  • Support the planning of innovative, challenging learning experiences that encourage child development
  • Support with high-quality observations, assessments, and planning for key children
  • Help supervise mealtimes in line with N’s safety policies
  • Complete daily health & safety checks thoroughly, escalating concerns where needed
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with parents
  • Embed all policies and procedures into your daily practice
  • Make sure every area is kept clean and tidy throughout the day
  • Help with day-to-day tasks that keep the nursery running smoothly

Requirements

  • Genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children
  • Drive to complete full induction and take up opportunities for further training and development, including Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Child Protection, and the opportunity to gain a Level 2/Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Positive, glass-half-full outlook
  • Bags of drive and motivation with a ‘make it happen’ attitude
