1st Degree in relevant discipline or Vocation qualification
5 Years specific relevant experience
Full UK Driving Licence
Associate membership with CIEEM
Abide by CIEEM’s Code of Professional Conduct

Job Responsibility

Managing medium-sized projects, including finance, resource allocation, managing sub-contractors, risk and quality assurance, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication, and seeking and responding to client feedback
Completing fieldwork, including out-of-hours surveys, travelling as required and working away from home
Overseeing aspects of site work and undertaking practical elements of habitat management or creation, under supervision
Assisting with the delivery of survey and research reports, to include document reviews, statistical analyses, licence applications, reporting, etc

Requirements

Have a degree in ecology or a related field, or suitable relevant experience
Be living in the UK with the right to work
Have a valid driving licence and vehicle, that can be insured for business use
Able to start full time until October 2024
You will be located within 1 hour’s commute from one of our offices (Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff, East Anglia, Guildford, and Leeds) or be willing to relocate immediately
Have the ability and willingness to travel and stay away at survey sites in various locations around the UK
Have confidence to work independently, and as part of a team
Be self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly
