It’s a fast-paced, hands-on environment where Assistant Managers play a key role in leading service, driving team performance and supporting day-to-day operations—making it an ideal step for leaders looking to grow within a dynamic hospitality group. About the role: Reporting to the Venue Manager, you’ll be part of the leadership team driving day-to-day operations across the hotel. This is a hands-on role — you’ll lead from the floor, take ownership of shifts, and set the standard across the entire venue.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support and develop team members across food, beverage, gaming, functions and sports bar operations
  • Maintain standards across venue presentation, service and compliance
  • Manage cash handling, daily reporting and reconciliation
  • Work with the Venue Manager to improve performance and build a strong, positive team culture

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • A hands-on approach and confidence leading from the floor
  • Proven ability to coach, develop and uplift team performance
  • Strong understanding of venue operations across multiple areas
  • RSA & RCG required
  • RMLV and Approved Manager license are preferred
  • Fulfil a variety of rotating rostered shifts including opens, mids, closes (3am), weekends and public holidays
