Job Description

Lead & Inspire at One of Brisbane’s Most Dynamic Venues! Join Redcape Hospitality at Orion Hotel — a high-volume, multi-offer venue with a bustling bistro, terrace bar, sports and gaming, and a packed calendar of events. We’re looking for a hands-on Assistant/Duty Manager who leads from the floor and thrives when things are busy and fast-paced. You’ll work alongside the Venue Manager to keep front and back of house operations running smoothly, while supporting your team and delivering great experiences for our guests.

Job Responsibility

  • Work as part of the Venue Leadership Team
  • Take ownership of general hotel operations
  • Drive performance
  • Execute strategic initiatives
  • Continuously improve customer and team experience
  • Lead a variety of internal teams
  • Ensure we maintain exceptional venue standards in relation to cleanliness and presentation
  • Create and nurture a positive work environment
  • Fulfil a variety of rotating rostered shifts including opens, mids, closes, weekends and public holidays

Requirements

  • RSA / RSG / RMLV / Approved Manager license are essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role
