Job Description

Join Our Team at Redcape Hospitality! Located in the heart of Brunswick Heads, the iconic, community centric Hotel Brunswick is seeking an Assistant/Duty Manager with a passion for great food, cold beers and live entertainment and music to join our customer focused and energetic Front of House team. You would assist the Venue Leadership Team & the collective venue team to successfully operate the hotel's Food & Beverage operations in a hands-on, Front of House capacity. As an Assistant Manager, you will operationally be the face of our venue – getting to know our locals & showcasing world class music in Brunswick Heads. You’ll work closely with the Venue & Operations manager along with our large team of dedicated staff who strive on creating unforgettable experiences in our venue.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaboratively working alongside or within various teams as we strive to offer an outstanding customer experience
  • Lead a large, diverse team in a fast moving environment
  • Have customer focus approach to our work – always having the attitude to make someone's day
  • Ability to work in a variety of departments and flexibility to adapt to a fast paced F&B environment
  • Ensuring we maintain exceptional venue standards in relation to cleanliness and presentation
  • Creating and nurturing a positive work environment so that all team members can thrive
  • Fulfil a variety of rotating rostered shifts including opens, mids, closes, weekends and public holidays in conjunction with our Hotel's operating hours

Requirements

  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and target-driven
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy, team-oriented environment
  • Possess a current/valid RSA & RCG & ARCG required
  • Valid authority to work in Australia
