Job Description:

Join the crew at the Criterion Hotel, part of Redcape Hospitality group, in the heart of the CBD. You’ll mix drinks, serve great food, support live events and functions, and gain hands-on experience in accommodation management and guest services. From check-ins to cheers at the bar, you’ll be part of the full hospitality experience. We’re serious about developing our people and creating real career pathways across our venues.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead through Redcape’s purpose, values and behaviours to deliver on key performance metrics
  • Support your Venue Manager in building, coaching and developing a skilled, capable and motivated venue team
  • Work cohesively as a member of the Venue Leadership Team
  • Take carriage of general hotel operations
  • Drive performance
  • Execute strategic initiatives
  • Improve/sustaining both Customer & Staff Experience
  • Lead a variety of internal teams
  • Ensure we maintain exceptional venue standards in relation to cleanliness and presentation
  • Create and nurture a positive work environment
  • Fulfil a variety of rotating rostered shifts including opens, mids, closes, weekends and public holidays
