Step Up and Lead at Baringa Tavern! Redcape Hospitality is on the hunt for a passionate Assistant/Duty Manager to join our leadership team at Baringa Tavern, a vibrant, community-focused venue in Aura, Sunshine Coast. This hands-on role puts you at the heart of the action — leading FOH and BOH operations, shaping memorable guest experiences, and mentoring a high-performing team. Job Responsibility:

  • Work cohesively as a member of the Venue Leadership Team
  • Take carriage of general hotel operations
  • Drive performance
  • Execute strategic initiatives
  • Improve/sustaining both Customer & Staff Experience
  • Lead a variety of internal teams
  • Ensure we maintain exceptional venue standards in relation to cleanliness and presentation
  • Create and nurture a positive work environment
  • Fulfil a variety of rotating rostered shifts including opens, mids, closes, weekends and public holidays

Requirements:

  • RSA / RSG are required
  • RMLV and Approved Manager license are preferred but not mandatory
  • Previous management experience is preferable but may not be mandatory for the right candidate
