We currently have an opportunity for the Assistant Director of Security to join our Four Seasons Resort Mykonos opening team in Greece! Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Assistant Director of Security is responsible for overseeing all aspects of resort safety, loss prevention, and emergency preparedness. This role ensures the security and well-being of guests, employees, and assets through effective leadership, training, risk management, and coordination with local authorities. In an ultra-luxury environment, the Assistant Director of Security must maintain a high level of discretion, professionalism, and guest sensitivity, balancing robust safety protocols with the resort’s atmosphere of comfort and exclusivity. The role supports the resort’s commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through a flawless and safe physical environment.
Job Responsibility:
Overseeing all aspects of resort safety, loss prevention, and emergency preparedness
Ensure the security and well-being of guests, employees, and assets through effective leadership, training, risk management, and coordination with local authorities
Maintain a high level of discretion, professionalism, and guest sensitivity, balancing robust safety protocols with the resort’s atmosphere of comfort and exclusivity
Support the resort’s commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through a flawless and safe physical environment
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Security Management, Law Enforcement, or related field
Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in hotel or resort security, preferably in a luxury environment
In-depth knowledge of Greek security laws, fire safety codes, and local emergency procedures
Certified in First Aid / CPR / AED
additional safety or crisis management training preferred
Strong leadership and decision-making skills under pressure
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
fluency in English required, Greek preferred
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity
Computer proficiency: MS Office, CCTV and access control systems, incident management software
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
