Job Description:

At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Assistant Director of Sales – Middle East to join our Commercial team. This role supports the Director of Sales in driving revenue across Leisure, Group, and Middle East segments, strengthening key client relationships, and ensuring the hotel maintains its position as a premier luxury destination for high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, and regional partners. You will assist in implementing the hotel’s sales strategy, guide the Sales team within your assigned segments, and proactively develop business opportunities across the Middle East market. Your contribution will be instrumental in achieving revenue targets and enhancing the hotel’s market presence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist the Director of Sales in managing and supporting the Sales team to achieve segment-specific revenue and profitability goals
  • Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives for Leisure, Group, and Middle East segments, aligned with the Commercial Plan
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive prospecting, account management, and negotiations within the Middle East market
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, including luxury travel advisors, consortia, corporate accounts, and high-net-worth individuals
  • Ensure seamless coordination with Operations, Revenue Management, and Marketing teams for strategic alignment
  • Mentor and support Sales Managers in their professional development, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity, providing timely updates to the Director of Sales
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, client meetings, and market visits in the Middle East

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales and business development within luxury hospitality, preferably focused on the Middle East market
  • Strong knowledge of leisure and group sales, with demonstrated success in revenue generation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior sales role such as Senior Sales Manager or Associate Director of Sales
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Leadership skills to support and guide a Sales team
  • Knowledge of sales management software and CRM tools
  • Fluency in English
