Job Description:

Assistant Director of Sales position at Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur City Centre focusing on weddings and social events. The role involves leading sales efforts, implementing strategies to achieve revenue goals, building customer relationships, and ensuring exceptional guest service in a hospitality environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in leading property's segmented sales effort
  • Implement segment sales strategy and achieve revenue goals
  • Conduct day-to-day sales activities with focus on building long-term customer relationships
  • Achieve personal booking goals
  • Work with sales leader to implement sales strategy
  • Assist in development and implementation of solicitation programs
  • Create and implement sales plans addressing revenue and customers
  • Assist with development of promotions
  • Provide leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential
  • Approve space release for catering to maximize revenue
  • Participate in sales calls to acquire new business
  • Execute operational aspects of business booked
  • Analyze market information using sales systems
  • Assist Revenue Management with projections
  • Review guest satisfaction results
  • Display leadership in guest hospitality
  • Interact with guests for feedback
  • Meet with guests during pre- and post-convention meetings
  • Empower employees for excellent customer service
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with off-property sales channels
  • Attend customer events and trade shows

Requirements:

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 3 years experience in sales and marketing or related professional area
  • OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 1 year experience in sales and marketing or related professional area
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies
  • Experience in maximizing revenue and managing sales activities
  • Experience analyzing sales and financial data
  • Experience ensuring exceptional customer service
  • Experience building successful relationships with stakeholders
