This role reports to the Director of People and Culture and will be responsible for assisting in leading the People and Culture strategy and execution and overseeing the day to day running of the People and Culture function; including benefits administration, employee relations, recruitment and retention of staff, communication to staff, career development of staff and legal matters. You will have a essential role as Four Seasons ambassador creating and encouraging a culture of golden rule, where we treat others as we want to be treated, supporting the hotel as a Business Partner, fostering relationships with others as a coach, supporting and driving Corporate People and Culture initiatives, employee counseling, managing the financials of the budget, conducting regular audits of People and Culture records, organizing and supervising all employee experience programs, actively supporting recruitment, selection, onboarding requirements and evaluating the effectiveness of People and Culture programs and initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and oversee the day-to-day operation of the People & Culture Department and collaborate with senior leadership on the implementation of the People and Culture strategy
Promote positive employee relations through an environment that encourages open communication, trust, mutual respect and fun
Assist Departmental Leaders and Senior Managers with the development of specific action plans to address issues and concerns identified in employees’ feedback
Oversee the administration of People and Culture programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leaves

performance and talent management
productivity, recognition, and moral
Monitor and ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance
Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
Assist with and support employee events
Ensure compliance with Four Seasons policy and local legislation in all aspects of the People and Culture function
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a People & Culture (Human Resources) leadership role, preferably within the hospitality industry
Strong understanding of hotel operations and the People & Culture function as a strategic business partner
Formal education or certification in Human Resources Management or a related field
Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Confident communicator able to engage effectively with all levels of the organization, from frontline employees to senior leadership
Demonstrated ability to motivate, develop, and lead a team of professionals
Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
Strong follow-up skills with the ability to drive tasks and initiatives to completion
High level of emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal abilities
Fluency in English is required
