We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in leading our nursing department and ensuring the highest standards of resident care. Job Responsibility
Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations
Support, mentor, and supervise nursing staff across all shifts
Promote a positive team culture through leadership and example
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to meet resident needs
Assist with surveys, audits, state reporting, and plans of correction
Help implement departmental goals, policies, and quality improvement initiatives
Monitor and maintain high standards of clinical care and resident satisfaction
Participate in staff development, education, and performance management
Requirements
Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
Minimum 2 years of nurse management experience
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of long-term care regulations, compliance requirements, and survey processes
Experience with state reporting and plans of correction
Ability to lead, coach, and inspire nursing teams
Nice to have
Proven success in improving quality measures and clinical outcomes
Experience working closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
