The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for an Assistant Director of IT to help maintain the technology that enables our signature world‑class service. You will play a key role in ensuring our systems, network, and digital platforms run smoothly around the clock to support both guests and our team.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the efficient operation, maintenance, and security of all property computer systems, data, and voice communication
Ensure mission‑critical systems (PMS, POS, HSIA, PABX, Call Accounting) remain fully functional around the clock
Provide high‑level support for resort leadership, admin users, and guests requiring technical assistance
Maintain user accounts, access control, systems documentation, and administration of server and network infrastructure
Support OS upgrades, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, backups, and recovery procedures
Assist with technology capital and operating budget planning
Partner on property‑level and corporate IT initiatives, new technology implementations, and major projects
Manage and coordinate third‑party vendor support as needed
Provide on‑call 24/7 support for critical systems and network security
Promote and ensure compliance with Four Seasons Core Technology Standards
Deliver high‑quality tech support to meeting spaces, function rooms, and conference services
Assist with company PCI compliance efforts, including participating in audits, assessments, evidence collection, and ongoing security reviews
Requirements:
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
College degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
Minimum three years of IT experience within a hotel or resort environment
Strong technical background, including MCSE certification or equivalent networking expertise
Hands‑on experience supporting complex networks, servers, and enterprise applications
Knowledge of Four Seasons IT core standards, policies, and procedures (preferred)
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with employees at all levels
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
Ability to work safely, prudently, and in an organized manner
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., perform occasional physical activity (bending, reaching), and navigate stairs within the property
Availability to work a flexible schedule in a 24/7 resort operation
