The Assistant Director of Housekeeping plays a key leadership role, inspiring a high‑performing team and elevating the experience of every guest and resident. This dynamic position oversees the immaculate care of all guest rooms, residences, public spaces, and heart‑of‑house areas, ensuring they always reflect the quality, comfort, and luxury of our Hotel and Residences. In partnership with the Director of Housekeeping, this leader drives exceptional service, fosters team growth and empowerment, and upholds strong operational performance—bringing our hospitality standards to life every single day.
Job Responsibility
Partner with the Housekeeping leadership team to manage, train, schedule, and evaluate all Housekeeping staff
Conduct interviews, performance evaluations, and corrective actions as needed
Promote communication and teamwork across the department
Oversee daily operations to ensure rooms and public spaces meet Four Seasons standards
Assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, and inspect all areas of responsibility
Establish detailed cleaning and preventive maintenance programs
Handle all guest and owners interactions with the highest level of professionalism
Respond promptly and accurately to guest requests and special requirements
Support departmental financial goals by monitoring labor, supply, and contract expenses
Maintain accurate inventory records for linens, uniforms, and supplies
Participate in periodic inventories and recommend corrective actions
Promote and enforce safe working practices, proper chemical handling, and equipment maintenance
Respond swiftly and effectively to all safety or emergency situations
Requirements
College degree preferred, or relevant experience in Hotel Management
Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role and 2 years in a Housekeeping Department position
Proven ability to motivate and lead a large, diverse team
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Strong financial acumen and ability to adapt to changing business needs
