Job Description:

Assists in leading the property's Food and Beverage operation, including Restaurants, Room Service and Banqueting. The position oversees the development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives. Provides strategic oversight and supports the Director of Food & Beverage in leading the department.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in leading property's Food and Beverage operation including Restaurants, Room Service and Banqueting
  • Oversee development and implementation of departmental strategies
  • Ensure implementation of brand service strategy and initiatives
  • Provide strategic oversight and support to Director of Food & Beverage
  • Ensure integration and consistency across all areas
  • Maximize financial performance of the department
  • Develop and implement promotions, food and wine pairings, menu items
  • Refine banqueting offerings
  • Ensure regular communication in all food and beverage areas
  • Review staffing levels to meet guest service needs
  • Set expectations and hold leadership team accountable
  • Review financial reports and statements
  • Ensure cash control and liquor control policies
  • Create atmosphere that meets or exceeds guest expectations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related professional area
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Banqueting
  • Food and beverage marketing knowledge
  • Restaurant/Event room operations knowledge
