The Assistant Director of Food & Beverage supports the Director of Food & Beverage in overseeing the Food & Beverage Division, including restaurants, kitchens, stewarding, bar, and in-room dining operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and a strong people-first culture across the division.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Director of Food & Beverage in coordinating the selection, training, development, and evaluation of employees and managers within the F&B Division
Actively contribute to the development of the team through day-to-day coaching, performance follow-up, and identification of training needs
Work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage, General Management, Chefs and Beverage Leaders to support menu development, service standards, and special activations
Assist in monitoring departmental financial performance, supporting cost control initiatives and revenue optimization strategies
Help control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, inventory management, purchasing decisions, and adherence to budgets
Ensure consistent execution of Four Seasons standards across all F&B outlets, with a strong focus on guest experience and service quality
Build positive and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and engagement
Requirements:
Proven experience in Food & Beverage operations within a 5* luxury hotel or resort environment
Strong operational knowledge with the ability to support strategic initiatives and translate them into daily execution
A leadership approach that is hands-on, authentic, and supportive, with a strong focus on people development
Passion for delivering high-quality culinary and service experiences aligned with brand standards
Ability to balance operational discipline with guest satisfaction and team engagement
Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken
Legal right to work in Italy required
