Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic at Tropicalia will feature 95 keys and 25 branded residential homes, 8 distinct F&B outlets, all thoughtfully designed to reflect a contemporary interpretation of the Dominican Republic’s natural beauty. The sustainable luxury destination is located on a 60-acre (24 hectare) site along the pristine beachfront of Playa Esmeralda in northeastern Dominican Republic, along the southern shores of Samaná Bay. A site of breathtaking natural beauty, Tropicalia is home to a diverse ecosystem of white-sand beaches; crystalline, aquamarine water and coral reefs; mountains, forests, mangroves, lagoons and rivers; a working coconut plantation; and an organic farm. Target start date for this role is August 2026

Job Responsibility

Support the Director of Finance in safeguarding hotel assets and financial resources, ensuring effective utilization to support profitability and financial sustainability
Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of financial policies, internal controls, and procedures established by the Director of Finance and senior management
Oversee the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting, analysis, and management information in line with corporate standards and accounting principles
Assist with the preparation of comprehensive monthly financial statements and reports in approved corporate formats, ensuring completeness and accuracy
Monitor balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations, long‑term debt, and supporting documentation, ensuring proper review and control
Maintain organized records for contracts, leases, and agreements, supporting compliance tracking and internal review processes
Support budgeting and forecasting processes for the hotel and residences, including analysis of variances and identification of risks and opportunities
Closely monitor labor costs and productivity in collaboration with operational leaders, supporting workforce planning and cost management objectives
Supervise and develop Finance team members, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to strengthen overall departmental capability
Act as a key liaison with internal departments and external auditors, banks, and advisors as delegated by the Director of Finance

Requirements

Three to five years of experience as an Assistant Director of Finance with Four Seasons or similar organization preferred
Must have a thorough knowledge of all jobs in the Accounting area
Must have a high degree of professional integrity, and be able to work in a safe, prudent and organized manner
Must have a commitment to follow all local and corporate policies and procedures
Minimum of BSC or BA in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting/Finance preferred
Exceptional communication skills and command of Spanish and English language
