Job Description:

Assists department head in managing budget, capital expenditures, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation; accountable for building and grounds safety and asset protection; supervises engineering operations and maintenance tasks across the property. Job Responsibility:

Assists in managing engineering budgets
plans and evaluates preventative maintenance programs
supervises day-to-day engineering operations
maintains grounds, public spaces, and facilities
inspects and evaluates physical conditions
implements energy conservation programs
ensures regulatory compliance
supervises staffing levels
trains employees in safety procedures
evaluates service behaviors.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
4 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major
2 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area
technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.

Nice to have:

Training in fire protection, safety, and evacuation
leadership in guest hospitality
compliance knowledge for permits and safety standards
experience in managing energy conservation programs
familiarity with new technologies and equipment.
