This role plays a key role in shaping policies that support the growth of the technology sector, ensuring the workforce remains competitive and future-ready in an evolving global landscape. This is a high-impact policy and strategy role within a central planning and strategy team, focused on shaping manpower policies for the technology and digital economy sectors. You will work at the intersection of policy, data, and industry trends, translating insights into actionable strategies that influence workforce development at a national level.
Job Responsibility:
Formulate and review manpower policies to support the growth of certain economy sectors
Conduct research and analyze data to identify workforce trends, gaps, and emerging opportunities
Translate insights into clear, structured policy recommendations for senior leadership
Prepare high-quality papers and presentations for senior stakeholders, including leadership teams and key decision-makers
Oversee the implementation of policies and ensure alignment with broader strategic objectives
Collaborate across multiple stakeholders and agencies to drive coordinated outcomes
Work closely with policy officers who can effectively contribute to cluster objectives
Requirements:
At least 10 years of experience in policy, strategy, or workforce planning, ideally within the public sector or closely related environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and distil key insights
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop teams
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
Familiarity with government processes, policy development, or regulatory environments is advantageous
