Job Responsibility

  • Conceptualize and develop special events and activities across the university and the city
  • coordinate and supervise event details including marketing, set-up, vendor coordination, room reservation, and audiovisual equipment
  • manage event budgets and oversee staffing and volunteer support
  • prepare and process financial documents and assist in contract preparation
  • compose and execute event communications including advertising, marketing, and publicity
  • monitor event registration and provide status updates
  • prepare reports and maintain an events calendar
  • represent the Institute at campus and community events
  • develop and execute strategic communications for events and initiatives
  • prepare and distribute releases, stories, social media content, and reports
  • prepare post-event reports and impact narratives

Requirements
