Job Responsibility
Support the Director of Finance in overseeing the daily operations of the Accounting Office, ensuring accuracy, compliance and operational effectiveness
Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting activities, delivering timely insights that influence business performance and strategic decisions
Ensure the integrity of profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls across the hotel
Lead internal, external and regulatory audit processes while maintaining compliance with Marriott standards, local regulations and financial governance requirements
Partner with operational leaders to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability and resource utilisation
Leverage technology, systems and analytical tools to enhance reporting capabilities and provide meaningful commercial insight
Coach, develop and inspire the finance team through open communication, performance development and recognition of success
Foster a strong accounting and operational control environment that safeguards assets, manages risk and supports sustainable business growth
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
Experience building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability and engagement
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution
Experience working within hotels or hospitality environments
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
A passion for continuous improvement, innovation and delivering results
