Job Description

The Customer & Commercial Planning team presents an exciting opportunity to join and lead the development of our customer-facing plans. These plans will be implemented within Boots UK stores, delivering stretching commercial KPI's. At the same time, we ensure the customer is at the heart of everything we do. A high profile, high visibility role working with partners across all departments, you will have a unique opportunity to create the best strategies and plans for the total business. Focused on the customer experience in our stores, you will own the trade-off processes for our instore space for Sales Plan, working with our Commercial & Marketing colleagues to maximise value projection instore. You will create and conduct centralised salesplan space planning across the Departments to provide a central and customer-facing viewpoint of all salesplan space in stores. You'll be working to build a space plan that delivers on the financial ambition whilst also surprising and delighting our customers. As a centralised planning team, we are key in driving out a co-ordinated plan that can be brilliantly implemented in stores and delight our customers, whilst recognising the need maintain supplier agreements. As the owner of important instore space instore, the impact you will have on our customers is clear; ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time across all 1900 stores. You will also support the 2 Customer & Commercial Planning managers, ensuring the delivery and planning of an in-year trade plan which drives meaningful difference for customers. Ensuring the plan is the strongest possible, grounded in insights and best practice whilst also being the guardians of the processes and governance that drive the creation of the plan. You will support critical planning meetings with senior leaders across both Boots UK & No7 Beauty Company.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the creation of a balanced site trade-off plan representing corporate events, NPD, value projection, category priorities & trending products
  • Site management including toiletries gondola ends, healthcare gondola ends, PPS, IQM and other ad hoc sites
  • Implement the plans you have developed throughout the Sales plan process, ensuring their execution
  • Support the Customer & Commercial Planning Managers with decision-making advice for changes to space plans, balancing customer insight, funding agreements and operational restrictions
  • Complete campaign, site and late change checks to support trading teams and other partners in delivering the Salesplan process
  • Support the development of these in-year planning processes and being a lynchpin between Commercial & Marketing teams

Requirements
