Job Responsibility

Based on the seasonal cycle menus and standardized recipes, determine the appropriate amount of food to prepare for each meal and snack
Adhere to prescribed diet orders when preparing and serving food, and ensure proper food handling techniques are utilized
Maintain high levels of personal hygiene and practice food safety and sanitation measures consistently
Participate in receiving, checking, and storing food supplies as required
Thoroughly clean dishes, pans, skillets, flatware, glasses, trays, and utensils after each meal
Handle kitchen equipment with care, following safety procedures and performing regular cleaning and maintenance
Complete assigned cleaning tasks to ensure the kitchen is kept clean and sanitary on a daily basis
Take daily food and equipment temperature readings and record them accurately
Perform any additional duties related to food production and meal preparation as required and requested.
