Job Responsibility:
Oversee general ledger maintenance and ensure accurate financial records
Perform journal entries and reconcile accounts, including bank and investment accounts
Prepare and review financial statements, cost reports, and regulatory filings
Track and reconcile cash receipts, revenue, and departmental reports
Coordinate workflow by reviewing entries and reports from team members
Manage fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
Participate in corporate and program audits, ensuring compliance
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
Support the Controller in implementing efficient accounting processes and systems
Ensure adherence to governmental and healthcare reporting standards
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on healthcare or government reporting
Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management
Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and regulatory compliance
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Office programs
Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Compliance with organizational health and immunization requirements or possession of an approved exemption
