This is a high-exposure, strategic finance position that will work closely with the Corporate Controller and CFO to help lead the financial function of a growing, dynamic, and enduring publicly held industrial manufacturing organization.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and oversee monthly and quarterly financial close processes for U.S. and international business units
Manage financial consolidations and ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Support the preparation and review of SEC filings and related disclosures
Prepare for and coordinate external audits, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with auditors
Conduct technical accounting research and lead the implementation of new accounting standards and related process improvements
Drive financial analysis, internal control enhancements, and operational efficiency initiatives
Partner with leadership to deliver strategic financial insights and recommendations
Manage, mentor, and develop accounting and finance staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
CPA required
10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership capacity
Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and technical accounting expertise
Experience in public accounting with a Big 4 or large national firm
Prior experience working on or for publicly held companies
Manufacturing industry exposure
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, manage complex projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
