Job Description:

This is a high-exposure, strategic finance position that will work closely with the Corporate Controller and CFO to help lead the financial function of a growing, dynamic, and enduring publicly held industrial manufacturing organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and oversee monthly and quarterly financial close processes for U.S. and international business units
  • Manage financial consolidations and ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Support the preparation and review of SEC filings and related disclosures
  • Prepare for and coordinate external audits, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with auditors
  • Conduct technical accounting research and lead the implementation of new accounting standards and related process improvements
  • Drive financial analysis, internal control enhancements, and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Partner with leadership to deliver strategic financial insights and recommendations
  • Manage, mentor, and develop accounting and finance staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • CPA required
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership capacity
  • Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and technical accounting expertise
  • Experience in public accounting with a Big 4 or large national firm
  • Prior experience working on or for publicly held companies
  • Manufacturing industry exposure
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, manage complex projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
