Assistant Controller Consultant

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Prepare and review account reconciliations and analyses for balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Oversee treasury functions, including vendor payments and the accuracy of cash forecasts
• Provide leadership and training to accounts payable team members, fostering their growth and attention to detail
• Assist with payroll processing and reconciliation, ensuring compliance and accuracy
• Collaborate on system improvements and enhancements to optimize accounting workflows
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and contribute to special projects as needed
• Ensure adherence to critical deadlines and maintain high standards in financial operations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Proven expertise in accounts payable processes and management
• Familiarity with SAP and Workday systems
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close procedures
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, both written and verbal
• Experience with Ceridian payroll systems is preferred
