Job Description

We are seeking an energetic, guest-focused Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager to support the leadership of our Conference & Banqueting operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, event-centric environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will play a key role in ensuring the seamless delivery of weddings, private events, conferences, and corporate functions, working closely with the F&B management team and operational departments.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the Conference & Banqueting Manager in the daily running of all C&B operations
  • Lead, train, motivate, and mentor the C&B team to consistently deliver five-star service
  • Oversee set-up, service, and breakdown of conferences, meetings, weddings, and banquets
  • Ensure all events are executed to the highest brand, service, and safety standards
  • Liaise with Events, Sales, F&B, and Kitchen teams to ensure flawless event coordination
  • Assist with duty management responsibilities as required
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and cost efficiencies within the department
  • Handle guest queries quickly and professionally, ensuring memorable experiences

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory or assistant management experience in Conference & Banqueting or Food & Beverage
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for training and developing teams
  • Excellent communication and organisational ability
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and a genuine passion for hospitality
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining exceptional service standards
