Under leadership of the Director of Concessions, the Assistant Concessions Manager will be responsible for effectively and profitably managing and directing all day-to-day aspects of the Concessions operations with the main focus of overseeing the Delta Sky360 Suite.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee all F&B operations of the Delta Sky360 Suite
Direct, implement and maintain a guest service and management philosophy
Greet and welcome members and guests and highlight upcoming events and specials
Conducting meetings to update staff on daily goals & objectives
Provide efficient service and quality products by maintaining positive customer and client relations
Maintain costs as it pertains to labor, COGS and operating supplies and work within budgeted guidelines
Responsible for operational budget, manage monthly P&L statements and ensuring that all financial reporting is accurate
Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to a staff
Accountability for establishing and maintaining proper safety and sanitation procedures
Ensure unit compliance with federal, state, local, and Legends regulations regarding sale of alcohol
Maintain management staff and ensure proper hiring and promoting associates per Legends standards
Work closely with multiple sub-contractors to ensure all needs are met
Preserving existing programs and developing new concepts to ensure the highest possible quality of food service
Oversee monthly inventory for concessions operations and develop yearly operational budgets
Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required
Assist in other operations related to the concessions department
Carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training employees
planning, assigning, and directing work

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 5-7 years’ management experience in the high-volume foodservice industry, preferably in concessions environment for a sports and entertainment venue
Union experience is strongly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
Customer service oriented
Ability to communicate with employees, vendors, client representatives and guests in a positive and professional manner
Must be flexible to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to work in a team environment
Knowledge of accounting policy and procedures and POS Systems is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must have or obtain NYC Food Protection Certificate
