Job Description

The Assistant Commercial Manager (12 month FTC) will support in the commercial administration of activities within the Operational function and Commercial close out. They will also assist in producing reports to provide valuable insight into business performance allowing Gigaclear to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities.

Job Responsibility

  • Raising Task Orders and reviewing and accepting supply chain Quotations as well as the administration of these Task Orders to ensure that Gigaclear is fulfilling its contractual obligations
  • Proactively challenge our operational teams in respect of cost recoveries for non-compliance of the contract and initiate / administer these recoveries
  • Reporting on actual and forecast costs by supplier and activity to provide insight on performance to support supplier benchmarking
  • Produce ad-hoc analysis and forensic investigation on performance to identify root causes and drive change
  • Sage administration to allow payment to the supply chain
  • Work closely with both the supply chain and our internal operations teams encouraging positive outcomes, whilst respecting contractual requirements
  • Work closely with our internal finance teams to bring projects to a close

Requirements

  • Experience of working within a Commercial environment
  • Knowledge of CEMAR and Sage is desired
  • Intermediate level excel skills are essential to include lookups and pivots
  • Organised and pragmatic nature with a desire to learn new skills
