Job Description

The Assistant Club Lounge Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day management of the Club Lounge, in the absence of the Club Lounge Manager. This includes ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, food quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and operational profitability, while supporting sustainable hospitality practices.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the Club Lounge in the absence of the Club Lounge Manager
  • Ensure highest standards of service delivery, food quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and operational profitability
  • Be a visual presence in the Club Lounge
  • Run the shift and allocate daily roles to team members
  • Represent the Club Lounge in meetings
  • Ensure all opening service and closing procedures are carried out
  • Maintain cleanliness of all areas
  • Maintain operational stock levels and order as required
  • Communicate correctly and professionally with all colleagues
  • Remain guest focused
  • Be precise with taking and executing orders from guests
  • Handle issues/complaints appropriately
  • Take opportunities to up-sell and create sales
  • Be aware of daily and upcoming business
  • Be accountable for all monies and financial payments
  • Hold pre-shift meetings
  • Be familiar with the menu, breakfast, evening, wine list & bar menu

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an Assistant Manager role, ideally within a luxury or high‑volume environment
  • Qualification in Hospitality Management/Food & Beverage preferred
  • Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage
  • Experienced in all aspects of restaurant and banquet service
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity with proven records in delivering results
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language

Nice to have

  • Qualification in Hospitality Management/Food & Beverage
  • Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage
