We are seeking an Assistant Clinical Director who is passionate about clinical excellence and eager to support and collaborate under the guidance of the Clinic Director. The Assistant Clinical Director is responsible for supporting the Clinic Director in the oversight of performance and operations of the clinic. This role supports the Clinic Director and clinic staff, assists with staffing needs, provides resource support, and performs administrative oversight.
Job Responsibility
Supervision and Consultation
Participate in the weekly Clinic Director meeting
Provide weekly individual supervision and bi-weekly group supervision for master's level clinicians
Provide 1:1 consultation with all therapy staff to review productivity, caseload, and clinical documentation
Troubleshoot issues within Valant and billing
Support clinic staff development
Partner with CD to support administrative changes as needed
Coordinate with CD to support the hiring process
Coordinate office supply orders with Clinic Director
Assist CD with monitoring and managing clinic office schedules
Provide timely response to concerns raised by clients and clinicians
Maintain agreed upon clinical client caseload
Serve as back-up for CD when they are out of the office
Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Master's Degree or higher education in mental health discipline
Independently licensed with a MA issued clinical practice license (e.g., LISCW, LMHC, Psy.D, Ph.D, etc.)
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and executive skill sets
Strong working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment
Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications
Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record systems
