Assistant Civils Design Engineer - Rail. Up to £45,000 per annum. Leeds. Do you have experience of Rail Civils / Construction Design? You will be joining a well-established organisation that has their own in-house design function, supporting a close-knit team that operates as an internal consultancy supporting a broad portfolio of rail infrastructure projects across the UK. The Role. You will be supporting a variety of high-profile rail projects and frameworks across the UK, carrying out civil engineering design (Rail Depots, Stations, Ancillary, Lineside, Bridges, Platforms etc) to support rail systems delivery. Assist in and develop the investigation, feasibility study, outline design, detailed design and implementation of civil engineering projects, and improve overall multidisciplinary awareness. Assist in the management and monitoring of the budget for projects. About You. Awareness of draughting and BIM software and steelwork and reinforced concrete detailing. Civil Engineering related degree, qualified to satisfy the current entry requirements for CEng or IEng through ICE or IStructE. Experience in Civil Engineering railway design and or construction. Desire to develop existing skills and acquire new technical competence to enhance team capability. Renumeration. Salary up to £45,000 per annum. 25 days holiday + BH. Matched pension scheme up to 5%.
