Assistant Chief Engineer

• Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of guest rooms, public areas, meeting rooms, restaurant, kitchen, and gym facilities
• Monitor guest satisfaction results and key performance indicators to identify maintenance-related improvement opportunities
• Assist in the selection, coordination, and management of external contractors and service providers
• Supervise the work of external companies, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
• Coordinate or recommend additional services such as painting, refurbishments, and replacement of furniture or equipment
• Support the training of the maintenance team in operational procedures, safety standards, and preventive maintenance
• Supervise daily maintenance operations and actively participate in hands-on maintenance tasks when required
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and brand standards

• Previous experience in maintenance or engineering, preferably within the hospitality industry
• Certified technician in electricity and plumbing (vocational training or equivalent technical qualification)
• Basic technical knowledge of HVAC systems and preventive maintenance
• Minimum Spanish language proficiency at B2 level (mandatory) to ensure effective communication with the team, guests, and external suppliers
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and support operational priorities

Salary year + 10% as a bonus
