Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Chef at Wilson Primary School in Reading who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. We are looking for an organised, hard-working and passionate individual to ensure that the food quality, presentation and service are provided to the required standard.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with all planning, preparing and cooking of meals to the required standard
  • Ensure the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced
  • Brief kitchen teams on menus and service
  • Ensure all food safety and health and safety procedures are applied continuously
  • Carry out company bookwork
