We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Assistant Catering Manager to support the day-to-day running and growth of our catering social enterprises. This is a rewarding opportunity to combine your catering and leadership skills while making a real difference to the lives of the people we support.
Job Responsibility:
Support the day-to-day running and growth of catering social enterprises
Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures and Environmental Health requirements
Support planning menus, sourcing ingredients, and ordering supplies
Collaborate with Day Opportunities Management and Work Programme Team
Support marketing and promotion, including seasonal events
Maintain strong presence in local community and deliver high standards of customer service
Ensure premises are maintained to high standard of cleanliness
Provide line management and supervision to catering team
Help prepare weekly staff and volunteer rotas
Ensure appropriate training for all staff and volunteers
Handle financial transactions in accordance with charity's policies
Support monitoring income, costs, and financial performance
