Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Assistant Catering Manager to support the day-to-day running and growth of our catering social enterprises. This is a rewarding opportunity to combine your catering and leadership skills while making a real difference to the lives of the people we support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the day-to-day running and growth of catering social enterprises
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures and Environmental Health requirements
  • Support planning menus, sourcing ingredients, and ordering supplies
  • Collaborate with Day Opportunities Management and Work Programme Team
  • Support marketing and promotion, including seasonal events
  • Maintain strong presence in local community and deliver high standards of customer service
  • Ensure premises are maintained to high standard of cleanliness
  • Provide line management and supervision to catering team
  • Help prepare weekly staff and volunteer rotas
  • Ensure appropriate training for all staff and volunteers
  • Handle financial transactions in accordance with charity's policies
  • Support monitoring income, costs, and financial performance
