As an Assistant Buyer, you will be responsible for aspects of product development, including quality specs and checks, sample follow-up, internal production matters, coordinating photo shoots and marketing samples, as well as placing purchase orders (POs). You will have the opportunity to work with various types of products, such as dining tables and coffee tables. Please submit your application documents in English. Job Responsibility:
Working closely with the category buyer and providing high-level assistance in all daily operational tasks
assisting in the entire product development cycle, from professional sample coordination to raising purchase orders
collaborating directly with creative and quality teams to ensure excellence during the development process
resolving complex warehouse-, quality- and customer service-related queries effectively
communicating directly with Asian and European business partners to maintain strong international relations
supervising order placements and monitoring internal production tracking for timely delivery

Requirements:
A solid background in textiles or a relevant commercial field
previous internship or initial work experience in a buying or sourcing office is a plus
a proactive, structured, and goal-oriented working style with a strong hands-on mentality
strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities
proficiency in MS Office, with a particularly solid command of MS Excel
excellent English skills, with German language skills being a distinct advantage
openness to innovation and initial experience using AI tools to optimise daily workflows
